Fall and winter are definitely some of my favorite times for fashion! September and February are all about fashion weeks and in between there are so many trends to choose from. One that we can count on to come back every year is layering. Now I love layering with big comfy sweaters, or chambray shirts under crew-necks but I absolutely hate looking wrinkly or bulky. Is that just me? After years of trying to master the layering trend, I realized that if you do it correctly it will create the illusion of a proportional silhouette and can breathe new life into some of your favorite pieces!
When I was deciding which parts of the blog I wanted to revamp and what new features I wanted to add, I knew that having A LOT more celeb style coverage was a must. All that’s being fixed, though, with this new weekly post ‘Chic Celeb of the Week’!Continue Reading…
I’m sure it’s no surprise that I kind of dropped off the whole blogging scene for a few months and haven’t posted since December! Ahh- it feels even crazier when I type it out. I had a lot going on…Continue Reading…

Hey guys! Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I’m beyond excited. I’m a little off schedule with blogging just because of running holiday errands and taking off work and stuff. Hey guys! It’s Friday eve and I’m so excited about it. Long week to say the least. But with all the states experiencing tons of snow, I was inspired to write about cozy winter accessories that don’t make you look like an astronaut or a third-grader. Am I the only one who thinks winter stuff can be warm/practical and fashionable? We shouldn’t have to choose! I looked through the internet- yep, the whole thing- and found some of my favorite accessories that are both chic and cozy! Of course, there’s faux fur and leather which I’m sure you guys know are some of my obsessions right now. Check out what I chose:
Hey guys! A lot of my posts recently have been inspired by the freezing weather here in Michigan and this one is no different, because today it was 35 degrees here. Like really? It’s literally freezing. Anyway, I thought about this the other day when I was taking out the final group of my winter clothes and putting away my summer clothes. You know how you put away a bunch of clothes for the season and kinda forget all the cool things you have? That was me! And the first thing I was drawn to was my trusty ribbed black turtleneck that I bought it from Macy’s last winter. It was an impulse buy, but such a great decision.
Whoa- 2 Friday posts, I know. Wanted to tell you guys that IFB chose another one of my links for their Links a la Mode weekly round-up! This is the second time I’ve been chosen pretty recently and I love being grouped with a bunch of other amazing blogs. Check out the links below and click around! I’m sure you’ll find some faves too!
